New gig confirmed! 13th of December Desyre will spread some Christmas spirit to all in Forssa, Finland.
Some uncertainty with the venue yet, but we'll clear it out soon. Stay tuned!

New Gig!!!

Desyre will play in Hämeenlinna with Roctum, Sleazy Act and MindRape on friday 29.8. The event is FREE!
The happening is at market square stage. Welcome to rawk! It starts somewhere after 17:00 or so.

The playing-order is:

1) Desyre
2) MindRape
3) Sleazy Act
4) Roctum

We'd also like to announce that all of our shirts and Red/Blue demos are sold out. We'll make new shirts hopefully soon as well as new designs. Also lots of new pin designs are on the way!

Desyre is scheduled to record the drums for the new full lenght CD in the middle of July. If you've been monitoring the news and rumors around the Desyre camp, you already know that the title will be Warning Of The Night.

Ten songs have been chosen by the band and judging from the audience's reactions, they will work nicely.

The search is over!

Ladies and gentlemen! Please, allow us to introduce our newest member: Mike "Ozzy" Seeker, the new bassist!

He's an old friend of Mazi's and the band.
Here's the story in a nutshell: Mike lives at the same building Mazi does and one weekend they gather around and watched some sci-fi movies which they both love.
During the evening the idea of Mike's involvement came in mind and they decided to give it a try.
It went very well and after Mike bought new bass just for the occation, the things just clicked.

Very soon we are ready to hit the road with new and improved sound of Desyre! Stay tuned!

Sad news. Jace Medley decided to leave the band. He remains to be good friends with the gang, though.
There are school duties and other important obligations. We wish him the best.

Desyre, thus, is in need of a new bass player. If you are the person we're looking for,
drop us a line at desyre[a]desyre777.com and tell something about yourself.

Here's the specifications:

•Desyre is a glam metal band and the members are born again Christians.
We are, firstly, looking for a musician who shares the same beliefs. If you,
however, feel that you can perform in a band like ours, and do not have the
Christian faith, send us some e-mail. We can always meet and talk about it.

•Your age must be at least 20 and you have been playing many years.
You have your own equipment and you can sing melodic back-ups.

•You're willing and capable of rehearse at least once a week. Participation
to the rent of the rehearsal place is expected. Located in Helsinki, Finland.

•You understand the musical and visual concept of Desyre and you fit in the
image. In other words, you have long hair and stuff. :P

•We have nearly ten new songs to rehearse on top of some of the old ones.
As soon as the bassist is found and trained, we will start gigging.
Also new record is in our mind. No more demos. This one's for real, baby!

•Don't be afraid to contact us. We are bunch of funny and relaxed dudes. :)

Desyre has put a lot of energy into rehearsing lately.
Drums are arranged to all the songs already. Some
guitar and bass polishing needs to be done yet, but
we're on our way, baby!
Eight new songs (incl. a surprise cover) are on the
list at the moment.
In case Mazi's handwriting is too Hebrew, here's the
titles of the songs:

• Dreams
• No One Knows
• Can't Let Go
• Ransom
• Yule Night Brightness
• Calling
• Mr. Hyde In Delite
• Cover

Also the opening track from the first demo, The Battle, has been considered.
It will be a killer set list. =)

The name for the new drummer is Jayce Prime, people! The man has the longest hair of the Desyre camp. Very niceee!!!

Today was the first day for the rehearsals with him. Things went very well indeed.

Unfortunately Coco and Jace couldn't make it, but Mazi and Jayce exploded the house with some raw street glam metal.

Three songs, titled Dreams, Ransom and Calling, were re-arranged to the new heavier mold.

The audition went nicely. We'll be meeting the new guy again in some time.
